    Social & Scientific Systems is in need of a Talent Sourcer/Communications Coordinator. This role will support Recruitment by being responsible for developing innovative methods to identify, engage, and develop relationships with prospective candidates. In addition, on the Communications side of the role, the successful candidate will proactively drive marketing and branding activities to build Social & Scientific Systems recognition in the marketplace.


    • Work with Recruiter to understand position requirements
    • Build and execute sourcing plans to develop and maintain candidate pipelines
    • Create innovative and resourceful sourcing strategies to find and attract the top passive and active talent
    • Maintain the integrity of our applicant tracking system and update candidate information
    • Coordinate scheduling of interviews for Hiring Managers and Candidates 
    • Ensure high touch candidate/hiring manager communication throughout the entire search execution process
    • Spearhead and promote Social Media campaigns using Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, Pinterest and other viable platforms 
    • Maintain the content and functionality of the Social & Scientific Systems internal and external websites through coordination with other departments
    • Design and help execute social media strategy to drive company brand recognition
    • Assure brand consistency across digital messaging platforms
    • Ensures alignment of communications strategy with business priorities
    • Develop advertising strategies and sourcing channels to build new networks of potential candidates
    • Provides marketing communications and design support for conferences and events
    • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and changes in digital marketing trends
    • Recommend and apply new technologies and digital strategies to improve user experience
    • Develop a posting schedule and continuously engage with the market place through creative posts on social media
    • Manage company branding and positioning to ensure alignment of company vision
    • Attend recruiting and marketing events on behalf of the organization as needed


    • Bachelor’s Degree
    • Minimum of 2 years’ experience utilizing multiple Social Media channels in a business environment AND/OR
    • Minimum of 2 years' experience sourcing, networking and/or recruiting
    • Demonstrated ability in web management
    • Proficiency in HTML/DHTML, WordPress. Javascript, Google Analytics, or similar platforms
    • Solid verbal and written communication skills- It will be critical to establish credibility and strong rapport through virtual communication
    • Ability to work pro-actively in a fast paced, target driven environment and perform well under time constraints and changing deadlines
    • Familiarity with HR databases and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
    • Self-starter, able to identify problems, implement solutions, and manage multiple priorities
