    Implements complex statistical analysis plans, constructs comprehensive reports of analysis results. Performs complex data manipulation and implements advanced programming techniques using SAS. Demonstrate independent thinking in approaching difficult problems. Remains abreast of—and implements—new methodological developments with potential applicability to project work. Handles multiple tasks simultaneously, is able to work independently as well as in a team environment.

    Responsibilities

    • Analyze large numbers of data sets using complex analyses with existing SAS programs
    • Help organize results, codes and data sets
    • Writes statistical analysis plans and produces power calculations.
    • Conducts statistically valid and scientifically appropriate data analyses.
    • Analyzes, interprets and displays data using statistical and graphical tools.
    • Writes regular and ad hoc reports for clients.

    Qualifications

    • BS or MS degree in Statistics or Biostatistics.
    • Strong SAS programming skills. 
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills. 
    • At least 3 years of experience with biological and environmental health data preferred but not required. 
    • Demonstrated scientific and technical writing skills.
    • Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills.
    • Have the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and enjoy working in a multidisciplinary environment with quantitative and life scientists.
