Reporting to the President and Chief Executive Officer, the VP of Human Resources is a trusted member of the senior leadership team and is accountable for the planning, organizing and direction of the Human Resources Department. Responsible for all Human Resource related policies and programs that effectively contribute to the selection, utilization, motivation and retention of the caliber of employees necessary for the continued success of the Company.


  • Plans, develops, organizes, implements, directs and evaluates the organization’s human resources for headquarters and field offices;
  • Manages all employment functions, including benefits, training, administration, compliance, recruiting and performance evaluation;
  • Ensures that policies, procedures, and employment practices support the needs of the workforce and the organization, and are in compliance with all laws and regulations;
  • Translates the organization’s strategic and tactical business plans into HR strategic and operational plans;
  • Develop a comprehensive talent strategy that is closely aligned and strongly integrated with the business strategy, ensuring that the company is making the right talent decisions to meet its strategic priorities;
  • Drive and influence talent assessment and performance management throughout the organization with the goal of achieving a culture of high performance;
  • Leads, coaches and mentors Human Resource professionals;
  • Provides internal consultation to senior management;
  • Champions change throughout the organization, acts as an employee advocate while developing and nurturing a performance based culture;
  • Ensures that programs and policies are in place to attract, retain and develop a talented, diverse workforce;
  • Creates and manages the budget and other financial measures of the Human Resource Department.


  • Proven Leadership experience
  • Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s preferred
  • 15+ years of HR experience in progressively senior Human Resources positions.
  • Strong generalist/business partnership background and current knowledge of emerging HR trends and practices.
  • Strategic and fast-paced thinker coupled with hands-on approach to getting things done, willing to immerse himself/herself in the business and demonstrate initiative to solve problems.
  • Proven ability to influence and persuade senior management towards progressive human resource management practices.
  • High level of verbal, written and interpersonal communication and demonstrated flexibility, combined with solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • International experience is a plus.
