Under direct supervision, provides technical and application administration and support for Deltek Costpoint, Time & Expense, Budget & Planning, and supporting HRIS applications, Systems, and tools.

Responsibilities

  • Provides advanced technical and organizational support for Deltek applications (e.g. Costpoint, T&E, B&P) and other Finance and HR applications (e.g. Paychex).
  • Provides support to the development and organization of financial databases, integrating multiple platforms and technologies.
  • Plans and manages production and development Deltek systems and environments.
  • Leads the evaluation, escalation, and resolution of issues with Deltek systems.
  • Works with SQL and Oracle database administrators and Windows Server administrators to investigate system errors, troubleshoot issues, and monitor systems.
  • Performs routine maintenance on Deltek systems. Plans and performs system upgrades as needed.
  • Ensures change control procedures and processes are followed in accordance with corporate policies, with attention to systems development life cycle and IT information and security policies.
  • Works with corporate stakeholders to design and execute Deltek system test plans.
  • Interacts with senior level management to provide project or task status updates.
  • Prepares and maintains documentation including network diagrams and SOPs.
  • Works with IT management to prepare for financial IT audits.
  • Performs additional duties as required and may include off hours support, as needed, to support product enhancements, data uploads, and technical issues.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and five years of application administration experience. 
  • 5+ years of experience performing technical and financial systems analysis for enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems
  • 3+ years of experience with Deltek Systems administration running on Oracle and Microsoft SQL backends
  • Proficient with Microsoft Windows Server, Microsoft SQL Server, and Oracle Relational Database Management Systems.
  • Strong experience in data mapping, and data modeling, as it relates to the Deltek systems
  • Prior systems implementation experience, including creating and modifying Deltek interfaces
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to work across business and technical units
